The Carescape V100 Monitor is a low-acuity patient monitor that supports you in making fast, quality care decisions.
Features and Benefits
- Reliable, low acuity patient monitoring
- The CARESCAPE V100 monitor is a reliable, easy-to-use vital signs monitor that helps you care for many patients efficiently. Its speed, accuracy and mobility allow you to collect the right information at the point of care, and present it wherever it is needed, so you can make fast, quality care decisions.
- Durable and mobile
- Not only can the CARESCAPE V100 monitor withstand the rigors of tough clinical use and cleaning, the battery has a long run time – typically eight to 11 hours before requiring recharge. And if the battery is discharged, it maintains the data, and you can plug it in and continue to use the monitor. This long battery life allows you to flexibly move the monitor from one patient room to the next for the course of a shift.
- Clinical excellence inside
- By combining fast determination times with an advanced algorithm, the CARESCAPE V100 monitor helps ensure patient comfort while maintaining a high standard of clinical accuracy. It also includes the same advanced parameters and algorithms as other higher acuity GE monitors, ensuring measurement consistency across all care areas.
- Intended use
- The durable CARESCAPE V100 vital signs monitor is designed for low acuity clinical settings. It can also be used for continuous monitoring, providing you the flexibility of two devices in one, a stationary device and one for rounds. It is designed for use on adult, pediatric and even neonatal patients who have very low perfusion pressures.
- Accuracy
- The CARESCAPE V100 provides precise, accurate readings using proven DINAMAP* technology. The DINAMAP SuperSTAT blood pressure algorithms support speed, comfort and artifact rejection for virtually all types of patients, including neonates with very low perfusion pressures, geriatrics and hyper/hypotensive patients.
- Speed
- With non-invasive blood pressure determination times as fast as 14 seconds, and the clinical accuracy of embedded DINAMAP technology, the CARESCAPE V100 monitor delivers exceptional speed and accuracy. The Exergen TemporalScanner* thermometer provides non-invasive, fast, easy and accurate temperatures.
- Efficiency
- The CARESCAPE V100 monitor is a two-in-one monitor – it can be used for both spot check and continuous monitoring, with continuous monitoring freeing up valuable nursing time.
- Mobility
- Not only can it withstand the rigors of tough clinical use and cleaning, the CARESCAPE V100 monitor’s battery has a long run time – typically eight to 11 hours before requiring recharge. And if the battery is discharged, it maintains the data, and you can plug it in and continue to use the monitor. This extended battery life allows you to flexibly move the monitor from one patient room to the next for the course of a shift.
- Optional SpO2 configurations
- Available with GE Ohmeda, Nellcor OxiMax or Masimo SET
- Optional thermometry configurations
- Alaris Turbo Temperature
- The Alaris Turbo Temp provides fast oral or rectal temperatures at the beside in as little as 7 seconds, as well as axillary temperatures in monitor mode.
- Exergen Temporal Scanner
- The Exergen Temporal Scanner is easy to use, ergonomically shaped and lightweight for comfort. The patient’s temperature readings are gathered quickly and displayed clearly and visibly. The Temporal Scanner may be used on patients ranging from infants and children, up to adults.
- Unlike oral and rectal thermometers, the Temporal Scanner does not come into contact with mucous membranes. Since the Temporal Scanner only comes in contact with the skin, cleaning and disinfecting are made easy. This helps support your infection control efforts by reducing the potential for cross-contamination, which may eliminate the need for temperature probe covers (together with the associated costs and waste).
- Alaris Turbo Temperature
- Included built-in printer
- The built-in thermal dot array printer enables the Clinician to immediately print-out patient data or results whenever needed.
- Optional Carescape E-sCaiO Respiratory Module available
- Designed to free up valuable space, the Carespcae E-sCAiO Respiratory Module is compact, lightweight and has low power consumption.
- The Respiratory Module streamlines workflow efficiency with its fewer connections and less equipment.
- It aids in the reduction of breathing circuit/gas monitoring downtime and enables the simultaneous use of the Entropy and hemodynamic measurement modules.
- Single-width module that can monitor CO2 & N2O, Anesthetic Agents & Agent Identification, and Oxygen of adult, pediatric and neonatal patients.
